Cílem pokusu bylo ověřit předpoklad, že studenti se zaměřením na technické obory si obtížné mluvnické jevy osvojí efektivněji na autentických textech z vlastního studijního oboru. Základem provedeného šetření byl dotazník ke zjištění obtížných gramatických kategorií, volba vhodného autentického textu, jeho následná adaptace a ověření původního předpokladu ve výuce srovnáním výsledků standardizovaného testu.
eng	Grammar through Authentic Materials	The objective of the study is to verify an assumption that technically oriented students can embrace difficult grammar better if it is presented to them on the field relating authentic materials. The research was carried out in 2 groups of students at a technical faculty: the Jan Perner Faculty of Transportation, University of Pardubice, CZ. A tool for the survey was a brief overview of grammar categories as parts of the language sub-skills involved in the final attestation. Based on the frequency of student answers, the author selected grammar categories considered most difficult by the students. The survey was followed by the selection of suitable authentic texts with the stress on the occurrence of the grammar phenomena and by adapting them for the appropriate level and purpose. The selected grammar points were integrated into the final test and its results in the experimental group were compared with those of the control group.
