Tento příspěvek představuje část dlouhodobého výzkumu prováděného autorkou.
eng	Janice Galloway: Female Voices in Contemporary Scottish Writing	This paper examines the position of women in Scottish society with reference to history as well as contemporary Scotland. The core of the paper, however, provides the analysis of new and perhaps subversive ways in which contemporary Scottish women writers challenge the traditional roles ascribed to women as well as traditional literary representations o fwomen in Scotland. The analysis is devoted to the representative of the Glasgow school, Janice Galloway, and her novel The Trick Is To Keep Breathing.
