University of Pardubice, Faculty of  Arts and Philosophy

Peer mentor

My name is Jindra Lavrenčíková, and I am a third-year doctoral student in Historical Sciences at the Faculty of Philosophy. I have already completed my bachelor's degree (Slavic Studies in EU countries – Croatian and History) and my master's degree (Cultural History – Contemporary History) at the University of Pardubice, where I also pursued a Complementary Pedagogical Study. Since history is my lifelong passion and hobby, I am expanding my specialization through a master's program in Oral History – Contemporary History at the Faculty of Humanities at Charles University.

I have been actively involved in the operations of the Academic Senate of the Faculty of Philosophy, the Academic Senate of the University of Pardubice, and the Student Council of the University of Pardubice. Together with my colleagues, I founded SAKO – the Student Academic Community.

The mentoring program has helped me gain not only professional and practical skills but also the courage to create projects that I am currently involved in. Since my goal is to create a safe environment for students to study and relax and to contribute to their well-being, I have decided to utilize my experience in a suitable way and offer it to you, students, as a peer mentor. I am happy to provide practical advice related to studying.

In my free time, I study foreign languages, focus on personal development, animal welfare, music, and sports. I am fluent in English and Croatian.
