October 2018: First Aid Course

It can be very stressful to know exactly what to do when you encounter a medical emergency, even when you are in your home country, speaking your mother tongue and have some first aid knowledge. May 2018: Guided tour of Pardubice

On 10th May 2018 a group of foreign PhD students, Post doctoral researchers and employees were taken on a walking tour of Pardubice. Centred around the main city, the tour started off at the centre of the square. Many of the sites of historical importance could be spotted from this square. Knowing which building served as the town hall in a particular period, and why another building had to be chosen for the same purpose in a subsequent period was informative. February 2018: Taste France

After the success of the October 2017 edition, the Office of International Affairs and Development decided to organize a presentation of study programmes, scholarships, cotutelle (co-tutoring) in France followed by a tasting of French products. October 2017: Taste France

On 9th October 2018, the Office of International affairs and Development organized a presentation about study programmes, scholarships, cotutelle (co-tutoring) in France followed by a tasting of French products. The presentation was prepared in cooperation with the Alliance Francaise-Pardubice and Campus France- Prague. June 2017: Income tax

Income tax can be a daunting topic when you work and live abroad, especially if you do not speak the language. Besides, each country has its own system. To help its foreign employees (postdoctoral researchers, academics), the Office of International affairs and Development organised a course in income tax return. It was organized, on 8th June 2017 at the rectorate.
