The Action Plan is one of the strategic documents of the University of Pardubice. It deals with the HR strategy in science and research. In fact, the Action Plan is a list of Actions that define objectives to be achieved by the University of Pardubice within a specific time frame. The Actions are classified into different areas and each area describes the HR processes including the timeline, responsible units and a detailed description of the indicators. 

The Action Plan was one of the documents required to be granted the HR Award. It was drawn up in 2020 and relied on a detailed analysis of the processes in place at the University of Pardubice. 

The Action Plan is always prepared for three-year periods. After the end of the respective period, the Action Plan is assessed, and reviewed, based on further analysis, and a new Action Plan is prepared for the following three-year period. 

The first Action Plan covered the 2020-2022 period and included 40 Actions. It was assessed by the responsible units at the beginning of 2023, and a questionnaire survey was carried out in spring 2023 among employees and doctoral students of the University of Pardubice to verify the how processes work in real time. A 2023-2025 Action Plan including 33 Actions was drawn up on the basis of the assessment carried out at the beginning of 2023 and the subsequent questionnaire survey. It also addresses well-being of the employees and development of the scientific career of junior academics and researchers.
