Prezentace představuje jeden z možných způsobů implementace ICT do procesů profesního učení ? využití sytému MAT Fórum v pregraduální přípravě učitelů na Fakultě filozofické Univerzity Pardubice.
eng ICT in Teacher Education: Extending Opportunities for Professional Learning Information and communication technology - ICT ? has penetrated into all spheres of present-day society, including teacher education. It is believed that ICT may add a new dimension to the field of teacher education. Thus, the aim of the presentation is to consider the potential of ICT in the process of learning to teach, and to answer the following questions: Does the use of ICT in pre-service teacher education provide extended opportunities for professional learning of teacher trainees? If yes, in what way and with what tools? This remains a rather unresearched area, and the literature deals more frequently with learner-content interaction, which is incorrectly claimed to be e-learning, or with the benefits of ICT in teaching various subjects. Moreover, positive impact of ICT on education is often taken for granted. The presentation attempts to uncover the aspects of implementation of ICT into education practice. The investigation into interpersonal interaction in professional learning aimed to find responses to the above questions with respect to the specific educational context, i.e. the ELTE Study Programme at the University of Pardubice, taking into account the facilities available, trainees´ PC skills and tutors´ expertise. More specifically, an online learning environment, MAT Forum, was designed and deployed in order to integrate ICT into professional development module of the ELTE programme. Its implementation was thoroughly reviewed and mainly the evidence of collaborative construction of knowledge in the development of trainees´ professional competence was searched for. Conclusions and recommendations based on the research will be offered. ICT, teacher education, learner ? learner interaction, collaborative construction of knowledge, computer conferencing
