Provider: Ministerstvo školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy
Programme: Národní plán obnovy - SC C
Implementation period: 01.07.22 - 30.06.24
Workplace: Univerzita Pardubice - Sekretariát CITS
Investigator: Klápšťová Olga
Team member: Nepovímová Romana
Description:
The project aims to systematically ensure the comprehensive safety of distance learning, including directly related activities, both technically and procedurally, based on existing recommendations, standards, procedures, or methodologies. The project will analyze and deploy suitable collaborative platforms for supporting distance learning at individual public universities and ensure proper cybersecurity measures by implementing proven protection methods. The elimination of unwanted external influences or systemic risks arising from current practice will be achieved by combining advanced security settings of the chosen collaborative platform and applying security policies that meet the requirements for the implementation of distance education. From a procedural perspective, the project will address the security of distance learning forms and learning outcomes assessment, including final exams. The solution will be based on the national and international expert studies and the experience from distance learning caused by the recent COVID-19 pandemic. Namely, the project will focus on the issues related to student identity verification for administrative activities, teaching and evaluation of learning outcomes, provability of participant records, or avoiding the effects of undesirable influences and risks related to distance education. Finally, the project aims to set up appropriate security in terms of transfer or long-term storage of learning materials and documents related to teaching and verification of learning outcomes. Additionally, the project will also consider the compliance of its outputs with accessibility standards to applications and documents.
