The University of Pardubice is a member of the Across EU alliance

Last Tuesday, on the 6 of February 2024, the University of Pardubice as a part of  the AcrossEU team submitted  a joint application for funding in the framework of the EUI (European Universities Initiative) Call.  Rector Prof Libor Capek attended the Alliance meeting held in Fribourg, Switzerland, where the representatives of the Alliance universities signed the  AcrossEU Mission Statement.

AcrossEU is an alliance of nine mid-sized comprehensive universities  in eight European countries: University of Caen Normandie (France),  Lapland University Consortium, consisting  of the University of Lapland and the Lapland University of  Applied Sciences ( Finland), University of Siena (Italy), Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje (North Macedonia),  Umeå University (Sweden) and University of Valladolid (Spain) together with one associated  member, University of Fribourg (Switzerland).

The University of Pardubice joined the AcrossEU in 2021.

AcrossEU aims to cultivate a new generation of students and researchers equipped with the skills to lead and innovate in a rapidly changing world by systematically integrating critical and innovative thinking throughout our curricula and research agendas. We aim to develop the resilience and adaptability that are crucial for the future of an innovative, globally competitive and attractive European Education Area and European society.
