Příspěvek věnuje pozornost reálným možnostem, kterých může vyučující odborného jazyka využít v průběhu čtyřsemestrálního kurzu s ohledem na aktuální trendy. Zároveň si všímá významu skladby studijního plánu daného oboru a individuálního přístupu každého studenta pro motivaci ke studiu angličtiny v době masivního rozvoje informačních technologií.
eng	To Some Aspects of Motivation in the Context of Up-To-Date Trends in Teaching ESP	This paper discusses some aspects of the motivation of the Information Technologies students at the University of Pardubice to learn the English language within their bachelor programme. It brings attention to the real possibilities the teacher can use during the four-semester course, taking into consideration the latest trends in ESP.
