eng	Authentic Materials as a Means of Increasing Foreign Language Competence	The use of authentic materials in language teaching facilitates the teacher in the application of effective ways of teaching based on an interactive, learner-centred approach. Authentic materials enable the teacher to form a real language environment, since they reflect everyday life of native speakers of the language. The use of authentic materials crosscuts every stage of language preparation, beginning from the entrance exams up to the completion of the final examination.
