eng Students' Conference as a Way of Concluding an ESP Course The paper deals with the concept of Students? Conference in English at the Institute of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (IEEI) at the University of Pardubice. The Conference is organized by the teachers of English for Specific Purposes in co-operation with the IEEI and experts from companies involved in the IT sector. The Conference is aimed to give the students an opportunity to conclude their English course by presenting a topic related to their branch of study in English, which allows them to demonstrate not only their technical knowledge, but also their command of the spoken language and their presentation skills.
