eng Computer Literacy - Specific Problems of Whole-Life Education Computer literacy at the level of company information systems is a concern of all employees and on the part of the employer this is regarded as a matter of course. Computer literacy at the level of public communication and public access to information sources is already the concern of not only the given individual, but it represents an all-society or a state priority, e.g. for the reason to prevent the division of society into informationally poor and informationally rich. Preference of population for computer literacy in the strategy of state information policy of the Czech Republic is manifested within the frame of accepted documents or by concrete educational projects. However, this further training of adult population has specific contents (information and communication technologies) and specific students (certain characteristics result from the age). That is why it is impossible to proceed with standard methods, so that the exertion and resources invested would not go astray. computer literacy, information and communication technology, whole-life education
