Charity Day at UPCE: Helping Makes Sense. Join Us on May 12

Help us support those who truly need it. By taking part in our material donation drive, you can support selected non-profit organizations and at the same time learn more about volunteering opportunities.

🕙 When: 12 May 2026, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
📍 Where: In front of the main entrance to the Jan Perner Faculty of Transport Engineering building (DB)

🎁 What can you donate?

For SKP – Centre (shelters):

• Hygiene supplies – laundry detergents/gels, cleaning products, soap, shower gels, shampoos (including anti-lice shampoos), conditioners, toilet paper, tissues, wet wipes, toothpaste, deodorants, children’s plasters, non-stinging disinfectants, etc.
• Men’s clothing – jackets, T-shirts, hoodies, sweaters, socks, sweatpants, jeans, shoes, slippers
  (NO shirts or suit jackets)
• Other useful items – towels, tea towels, backpacks, bags, etc.

For SEMIRAMIS:

• Sensorimotor aids – various types of balls (anti-stress balls, massage balls, spiky balls, soft balls…), modeling clay, folding cubes, fidget spinners, pop-it toys, balance pods, gym balls.
• Figures for therapeutic sandplay – any figures (people, animals, objects, furniture, vehicles, etc.).
• Hay and feed for (therapeutic) guinea pigs

For LIONS:

• Old glasses and sunglasses
