Accommodation Schedule for the Academic Year 2026 /2027

Accommodation period: 14^th September 2026 – 30^th June 2027

Pricelists

Students and accepted applicants submit their applications electronically in the Halls of Residence and Refectory Information System (ISKaM):

1. Students with an active NetID (stxxxx):

• the login address https://iskam.upce.cz
• the application submission: dialogue “Accommodation” → “Accommodation requests (waiting lists)”   

2.  Accepted applicants without assigned NetID

• the login address https://iskam.upce.cz/BNLogin.aspx
• the applicant fills in an email in the login dialogue and generates the ISKaM password (click on “Non-existent or forgotten password?”)
• the application submission: dialogue “Accommodation” → “Accommodation requests (waiting lists)”

After registering an application for accommodation in the ISKAM system, the applicant will receive an email confirming ,, receipt of the application".

Applications are processed collectively on the date the application period ends. If the number of applications in a given round exceeds the number of allocated beds, the applications are then processed based on so‑called travel‑time minutes.

1^st ROUND OF APPLICATIONS AND RESERVATIONS 
This round is intended for current students, including future graduates who will be applying for follow‑up (continuing) studies.”

Applications:

6^th April  – 26^th April - submission of applications 

28^th (from 15:00 pm) - results of the application status in ISKAM (successful = positively processed)

28^th April – 27^th May - reservation deposit payment CZK 3000 (applies only to students who are not currently accommodated; for accommodated students, the reservation deposit is automatically covered from their existing accommodation deposit)

Reservation (for students with successful application):

29^th April (from 9:00 am) – 10^th May - reservation of current bed in ISKaM

29^th April – 8^th May - reservation of current room for couples “SHE + HE” – apply by email to ubytovani@upce.cz (2x name + 2x NetID)

11^th May – 15^th May - reservation of a room for new couples “SHE + HE” – apply by email to ubytovani@upce.cz (2x name + 2x NetID + preferred pavilion / room type)

18^th May (from 9:00 am) – 31^st May - other students – reservation of any bed in ISKaM 

1^st June - rejection of application to students that have failed to reserve specific bed or did not pay the reservation deposit.

2^nd ROUND OF APPLICATIONS AND RESERVATIONS
This round is intended for future 1^st year students only

Applications:

1^st July – 31^st July - submission of applications 

4^th August (from 15:00 pm) - results of the application status in ISKaM (successful = positively processed)

4^th August - 20^th August - reservation deposit payment CZK3000

Reservation (for students with successful application):

4^th August – 10^th August - room reservation for new couples “SHE + HE” – apply by email to ubytovani@upce.cz (2x name + 2x NetID + preferred pavilion / room type) 

11^th August (from 9:00 am) – 23^rd August - other students – reservation of any bed in ISKaM

24^th August - rejection of application to students that have failed to reserve specific bed or did not pay the reservation deposit.

3^rd ROUND - ADDITIONAL APPLICATIONS AND RESERVATIONS 

Any additional applications must be sent by applicants from 25^th August 2026 by email to ubytovani@upce.cz.

• FHS students interested in the accommodation in the Halls of Residence within the faculty (Pardubice, Průmyslová street) apply directly to the provider, namely the Secondary Medical School, Pardubice (for more information go to http://www.szs-pardubice.cz/)
• FR students apply by email to ubytovani@upce.cz

1. The main date of check-in at the Halls of Residence:

• Monday 14^th September – Monday 21^st September 2026
• confirmed bed reservation is valid until 21^st September 2026
• bed reservation is a subject to a fee, which means that you will be charged for the period from 14^th September, according to the room type and irrespective of the actual date of checking in for the accommodation.

2.  Early check-in at the Halls of Residence (boarding before 14^th September):

• any earlier check-ins at the Halls of Residence are possible only by prior agreement; the exact date of boarding must be announced by email at least three working days in advance (ubytovani@upce.cz )
• residence fee is charged as of the actual date of check-in.

4. Delay in arrival at the Halls of Residence (boarding after 21^st September):

• for a delay in arrival and checking-in, it is necessary to inform by email the manager of Halls of Residence (eva.machane@upce.cz), no later then Friday 18^th September at 12 noon at the very latest.
• extension of reservation/delay in arrival is a subject to an additional payment of the accommodation deposit (additional payment = accommodation deposit minus reservation deposit CZK3000); the amount of the accommodation deposit see -https://www.upce.cz/en/pricelists
• if the student does not check-in for the accommodation by 15^th October 2026 - cancellation fee of CZK3000 + the entire period of the extended reservation is included in the price per bed/night. 

4. Cancellation of reservation

• reservations made by students, who fail to check-in for accommodation by 21^st September without reasonable explanation will be cancelled and charged accordingly via price list.

5. Check-in:

• all the check-ins take place at the central reception, pavilion C, between 8:00 am – 20:00 pm

Halls of Residence and Refectory Information System = ISKaM

ISKaM is a complex system that processes the administrative work associated with accommodation and catering services.

Each student has their ISKaM personal financial account to carry out all payments for accommodation + catering and to register all payment transactions.

Reservation deposit

• the amount of 3000 Czech crowns (CZK3000)
• to make the payment, see Student´s account, payment information| University of Pardubice (upce.cz)
• payment deadline – see individual application rounds
• the Halls of Residence and Catering Service (the HRCS) recommends students increase their payment by CZK500, which will automatically remain at the student’s account as a “free credit” for taking meals in the Refectory
• when checking in for accommodation, the reservation deposit serves as a partial payment of the accommodation deposit

Accommodation deposit

• accommodation deposit is set at 65 times the daily rate for a specific bed, see Pricelists | University of Pardubice (upce.cz)
• accommodation deposit is automatically calculated by the ISKaM system upon student’s check-in for accommodation and partially paid from the reservation deposit
• the remaining part of the accommodation deposit has to be paid by the accommodated person immediately when checking in for the accommodation
• the HRCS returns the accommodation deposit at the end of the accommodation

Cancellation of reservation – cancellation fees

• cancellation of reservation can only be made in writing by email to eva.machane@upce.cz
• cancellation of reservation until 15^th August – no cancellation fee
• cancellation from 16^th August - 13^th September  – cancellation fee CZK1000
• cancellation from 14^th September - 21^st September - cancellation fee CZK2000
• not checking in for accommodation by 21^st September - cancellation fee CZK3000
• student is not obliged to pay the cancellation fee if she/he has not been admitted to a follow-up master’s or doctoral study programme and has submitted a decision on their non-admission
• any cancellation fees are paid from the reservation deposit

Information on payments for accommodation (residence fees) during the academic year

• billing of dormitory fees and services takes place on the 1^st day of the month retrospectively for the previous month, due on the 5^th day of the month
