Within the scope of the project of the University of Pardubice TG02010058 (TA ČR, programme GAMA, sub-programme 1) 15 subprojects at four faculties of the University of Pardubice were supported in 2015 – 2019.

Further proof-of-concept projects will be supported from the project of University of Pardubice TP0101012 (TA ČR, programme GAMA2, sub-programme 1) in 2020 – 2022.

In terms of coordinating the proof-of-concept activities, CTKT communicates with the financial support provider (TA ČR), the Council for the Commercialization of the University of Pardubice (RpK, advisory body to the Rector) and the researchers of each individual component of the projects. At the same time, CTKT actively participated in the assurance of protection and the commercialization of the intermediate results of the projects.

The sub-projects allow researchers to verify the properties of a selected result (ex. creating a physical functional sample/prototype or verifying a new technology on a pilot scale) and their applicability on the market (obtaining feedback from potential commercial partners), to bring the result to the stage where it can be commercialized and start licensing or transferring the results with commercial partners.

Centre for Technology and Knowledge Transfer is in charge of:

  • financial and design management of the project (in relation to TA ČR),
  • announcement and administration of internal appeals, declaration of supporting intermediate projects,
  • quarterly monitoring of advancements made in the intermediate projects, including withdraws made from the budget and approving changes made to the intermediate projects (including the presentation of RpK results),
  • continuous consultation regarding the realization of the intermediate projects, the protection of intellectual property and the steps made with interest towards commercialization, including the contractual treatment of relationships with external subjects.
