The Rector appoints Vice-Rectors for different professional fields.
Professor Tatiana Molková was born in 1966. She graduated from the College of Transport and Communication in Zilina, Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport and Communications (Slovakia) in 1989. She defended her Ph.D. thesis at Jan Perner Transport Faculty University of Pardubice in 1999.
From 1989 to 1992, she worked as a researcher in Computer Centre of Transport of Czechoslovak Railways in Bratislava (Slovakia), and after that she worked one year as a teacher at a secondary school of transportation in Trnava (Slovakia). Since 1993, she has been teaching and doing research at Jan Perner Transport Faculty of the University of Pardubice, firstly as a junior lecturer, later as a senior lecturer. In 2004, she was appointed Associate Professor in the field of Technology and Management in Transport and Telecommunications. In February 2014, she was appointed professor in Technology and Management in Transport and Telecommunications.
Her research activities are focused on quality management systems in transport, capacity issues mainly in railway transport and optimisation of transport operation and technology.
From March 2006 to January 2010, she was appointed the Vice-Dean of Jan Perner Transport Faculty for science and research and later for external affairs.
2010 - 2014 Tatiana Molkova has been appointed the Vice-Rector for Research of the University of Pardubice, since February 2014 the Vice-Rector for Internal Affairs and the Statutary Vice-Rector.
Since February 2018, She has been appointed the Vice-Rector for Education of the University of Pardubice.
Professor Miroslav Ludwig is the author of sixty scientific publications, author and co-author of one hundred and twenty lectures at international and national conferences. Nowadays he is focusing on synthesis and study of organic push-pull systems with nonlinear optical properties. He has been a member of various scientific boards and councils of the Czech universities.
In 1995, he was elected a Chairman of the Academic Senate of the University. Since 1997 till January 2000 and since 2006 till 2010, he was appointed the Vice-Rector of the University of Pardubice, in the period of 2000 to 2006 the Rector of the University of Pardubice.
Since February 2010 Prof. Ludwig has been appointed again the Rector of the University of Pardubice, re-elected in 2013 for the period 2014 - 2018.
Since February 2018, He has been appointed the Vice-Rector for Internal Affairs of the University of Pardubice.
Andrea Koblížková, Ph.D. has been involved in English for specific purposes and inter-cultural interaction. Her background, combining management, marketing and English studies brings me naturally to the issues of communication important to professionals in business, including socio-pragmatic aspects of intercultural interaction.
She graduated from the Mendel University in Brno (business and management), and the Masaryk University in Brno (English studies), later earned her PhD degree at the University of Pardubice, Department of Economy and Management of Chemical and Food Enterprises, and took part in study stays through the Fulbright Commission and the British Council.
From 2004 to 2018, She was head of the Language Centre at the University of Pardubice. As the member of the Executive Board of the European Confederation of Language Centres in Higher Education (CercleS) and the chair of the Committee of the Czech and Slovak Association of Language Centres, She has been involved in the issues of tertiary language education and language policy in international context.
Since February 2018, She has been appointed the Vice-Rector for Development of the University of Pardubice.
Professor Petr Vorel was born in 1963. He graduated in History and Russian from the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague in 1986. After graduation, he worked in the Museum of Eastern Bohemia in Pardubice, initially as ahistorian and numismatist, from 1994 as the head of documentation. He completed external research assistantship at the Institute of History of the Czech Academy of Sciences in 1994 and habilitated at the Faculty of Arts of the Charles University in Prague in 1999. Since 2000, he has been a member of the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy of the University of Pardubice. He worked as the head of the Department of Historical Sciences from 2000 till 2006, held the office of the Vice-Dean for Research in the years 2006 and 2007, and was the Dean of the Faculty between 2007 and 2015. He was appointed professor at Palacky University in Olomouc in 2004.
Prof. Vorel is an author of many specialist books and scientific studies published in Czech and other languages (English, German, Italian, Polish) in Europe and the U.S. Themes of his specialist interest range from the local and regional history of the Pardubice region to the early modern times of the Czech Republic and Europe. Currently, he specializes in the economic and political history of central Europe and in the history of monetary circulation. Prof. Vorel is amember of the Learned Society of the Czech Republic and other domestic and foreign academic panels (Comenius Academic Club New York, Collegium Carolinum München, etc.).
He was appointed the Vice-Rector for Development as of 1st November 2015 - 2018.
Since February 2018, He has been appointed the Vice-Rector for Research of the University of Pardubice.
