Erasmus and Exchange Programme

Information for the Erasmus students in the 2016/2017 academic year

The University of Pardubice Accommodation and Catering office provides all students enrolled to study within the Erasmus programme with two types of accommodation at the University´s Halls of Residence.

3 bed room CLASSIC:

  • a triple room with fixed internet connection; the fridge inside the room
  • a shared bathroom, toilette and kitchen on the corridor for more students
  • an average accommodation price  is around 3.900 CZK / person / month

2 bed room STUDIO:

  • a room for two persons which includes a bathroom, toilette, kitchen (with a fridge, without kitchen equipment), fixed internet connection
  • an average accommodation price is around 5.000 CZK / person / month

Accommodation conditions at the University of Pardubice Halls of Residence

Each accommodation applicant is obliged to pay the accommodation deposit of 230 EUR + all transfer-related bank charges (deposit above 6000 CZK                                                

Deposit payment deadline

  • for the winter term by August 15th 2016
  • for the summer term by January 15th 2017

How to reserve accommodation

  1. Student applies for accommodation by e-mail on the address: , and specifies the required accommodation type in the application.
  2. The reservation of the required accommodation is confirmed by the accommodation provider by e-mail.
  3. The accommodation reservation is valid for 10 days from the date of the accommodation provider´s confirmation.
  4. Immediately after the accommodation reservation is confirmed, the student is obliged to settle the financial deposit to the accommodation provider´s bank account (see the instructions below).
  5. Notification!  In case the financial deposit is not transferred to the accommodation provider´s bank account within 10 days of the provider´s confirmation, the accommodation provider automatically cancels the reservation.
  6. Cancelling the reservation by the provider is reported by e-mail.
  7. Students who do not specify the required accommodation type and settle the financial deposit are provided with accommodation according to current situation (usually a room within the basic accommodation level).

Accommodation term

  1. Winter semester
  • starting the accommodation September 19th, 2016
  • accommodation reservation is valid till September 30th, 2016
  • premature or delayed start of accommodation must be announced beforehand by e-mail
  • accommodation termination: at the latest on February 10th, 2017
  1. Summer semester
  • starting the accommodation February 13th, 2017
  • accommodation reservation is valid till February 24th, 2017
  • premature or delayed start of accommodation must be announced beforehand by e-mail
  • accommodation termination: at the latest on July 7th, 2017

Accommodation payments, deposit return

  • the accommodation fee is charged from the date of reservation (winter semester starting September 19th 2016; summer semester starting February 13th, 2017) or from the date of your earlier arrival
  • the first accommodation payment is settled together with accommodation fee for the next month (winter term: part of September + whole October; summer term: part of February + whole March)
  • the accommodation payment term: the period between 1st and 10th day of the present month
  • payments are made by cash or credit card in the Accommodation Centre office (pavilion B, 1st floor)
  • the deposit is paid back to the student on terminating the accommodation after settling all debts (the deposit is paid back in cash, in CZK)


Cancellation fee

to charge the fee for reservation cancellation

  • cancellation fee in period 30 days before the date of start the accommodation – 1.000 CZK
  • cancellation fee on time of beginning accommodation – 2.000 CZK
  • cancellation fee after the date of beginning the accommodation – 3000 CZK
  • cancellation fee is settled from deposit
  • the rest of the deposit is returned on the basis of a written application (the applicant must indicate IBAN + SWIFT CODE)
