The theoretical preparation is completed with professional internships, which follow the taught professional subjects and acquaint the student with specific problems occuring in practice. Attention is also paid to problems of construction materials in transport and new technologies in production or maintenance of transport means. During the study of the influence of transport on the environment students also gain necessary laboratory skills and related legal awareness. Based on the basic theoretical knowledge acquired in coursework, the emphasis is laid on acquiring practical knowledge and experience. On the job market the graduate can represent himself especially as a technician in the field of operation, maintenance and repair of transport means, in the field of analysis and restricting of transport means influence on the environment. He is also able to work in construction offices or run its own business. Moreover, he can manage small groups of staff. He can work in companies dealing with the operation of railway, road, and municipal public transport, and in the facilities performing repairs and reconstruction of vehicles.
