Application Procedure for Admission to the Bachelor Programme “Transport Technology and Communications“ (branches of study accredited in English)
in the Academic Year 2017/2018


Application Submission

The deadline for submitting applications for the 2017/2018 academic year by electronic form is 16 June 2017 at the latest on. The application form is


An insufficiently filled-in application will not be registered and the applicant will be asked for immediate rectification (on the e-mail address filled in the application form). If the applicant doesn´t rectify the defects within the required time, he will not be able to participate in the selection procedure. The registration of the application is the main point to the applicant acceptance including other requested acts such as an early high school degree determination and required documents transmission. The administrative fee is non-refundable. A certificate regarding the applicant´s health condition is not required.


The administrative fee for the application submission is 500,- CZK. The administrative fee is also possible to pay in EUR.


The main condition of the study acceptance to the Bachelor Programme at the faculty is an early high school degree termination to the application submission dead-line on 16 June 2017. Every applicant who will obtain the high school degree is obliged by the above date to submit to the Department for Research and Development of Jan Perner Transport Faculty, Studentská 95, 532 10 Pardubice, Czech Republic, documents as follows:

  • a certified copy of the high school degree diploma and (if available), a proof of nostrification of the high school diploma (i.e. recognition of the education acquired in a foreign country by the Czech authorities),
  • curriculum vitae,
  • copy of a passport,
  • two passport photographs.


All enclosed documents which are not originally in Czech or English must be translated into one of these languages and the translation must be certified. Furthermore, the applicant is obliged to attach to the application a proof of an administrative fee payment.


Entrance Examination and Notice of Accceptance

Once the application is registered and all the required documents submitted, the applicant will be invited to take an entrance examination. The exam is written and consists of two parts – mathematics and English language. The level of English language test is B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). By 23 June 2017 at the latest, the registered applicant will be contacted by an administrator from the Department for Research and Development and a term for sending an admission test via email (day and hour) will be arranged.

At most, 20 applicants will be accepted into offered field of study based on their overall ranking.

The results will be published under registration number on the website of the University of Pardubice no later than 30 July 2017.


Assessment and Payment of Tuition Fee

The tuition fee is set to 55000,- CZK  per academic year.  The applicant is obliged to pay the full amount via bank transfer and send the original confirmation of payment by 15 August 2017 to the Department for Research and Development of Jan Perner Transport Faculty, University of Pardubice at the address Studentská 95, 532 10 Pardubice, Czech Republic.

The confirmation of acceptance and confirmation of accommodation – documents which are required for
a long-term visa application – will be sent to the student after the tuition fee is paid. Once paid, the tuition fee is returnable only after submitting the confirmation of visa denial issued by the authorized Embassy of the Czech Republic to the Study Department for Research and Development of Jan Perner Transport Faculty, Studentská 95, 532 10 Pardubice, Czech Republic.

Registration of Study

The student is obliged to arrive in person at the Department for Research and Development of Jan Perner Transport Faculty on the day of the registration, which is set for the week between 25 and 29 September 2017.
