Double degree between Czech Republic and Finland

Jan Perner Transport  Faculty hosted  two representatives of JAMK University of Applied Sciences from Jyväskylä, Finland. On 27th March Sami Kantanen and  Tommi Franssila came to discuss the  possibilites of double degree between JAMK and JPTF.
The participants of the meeting  from JPTF were  prof. Ing. Jaroslav Menčík, CSc., doc. Ing. Petr Průša, Ph.D., PhDr. Olga Blažková and Ing. Petra Kuricová.
Mr. Franssila started his presentation by introducing the  town  of Jyväskylä, which is a really student friendly place, and then the University itself. Then he explained the system of education  in Finland and proceeded to describe  the programme in Logistics Engineering.
After that Petr Průša presented  town Pardubice and then talked about the  departments in JPTF. 
The participants discussed the duration of students exchange (6-12 months) and the most significant part was about comparison of courses studied at the universities. The double degree will mostly cover logistics and similar courses.  The common curriculum for double degree has to be thoroughly designed and the courses will be mostly provided by  Department of Transport, Management, Marketing and Logistics and Department of Transport Technology and Control.
