The objective of the study specialization is the education of qualified experts for a wide range of positions in economics and administration, whereby such experts should be able to propose, implement, professionally develop and apply information and communication technologies and to use computer-supported methods in decision making processes. The study course comprises educational activities organized by three Faculties (The Faculty of Economics and Administration of the University of Pardubice, the Faculty of Economics of the Technical University of Liberec, and the Faculty of Management and Information Technology of the University of Hradec Králové). The programme has not been conceived as a parallel course of study, given at the participating faculties, but as a common course of study that depends upon counts on both student and lecturer mobility. All three faculties are equipped with modern information infrastructures, which markedly improves mutual communication.
