The aim of the doctoral study program "Chemical and Process Engineering" is to prepare students for independent and creative scientific-research work in the field of environmental and process engineering with a view to sustainable development, including the theoretical and experimental research using advanced research techniques and modern methods of mathematical modelling.

The graduate of the doctoral study program can be characterized as highly qualified expert in the field of protection and creation of environmental and chemical engineering who is able to utilize his/her deep knowledge for creative solution of complex problems in the field of environmental engineering. The graduate is also able to develop and apply research results in chemical, chemical technology and food-biochemical practice and independently participate in the solution of scientific-research problems.
