Born: August 22nd, 1982, Pardubice, Czech Republic.
In 2008 he graduated at the University of Pardubice. In 2014 he defended his Ph.D. thesis “Synthesis and application of optically active imidazoline derivatives“. He pursued one-month doctoral internship at the University of Łódź, Poland in the group of Prof. G. Mlostoń. Short time in 2014 he worked as research worker for company named TOSEDA with main activity in contract research and development of specialty polymeric systems. In December 2014 he joined the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Technology (University of Pardubice) as Professor Assistant.
He is actually dealing with polycyclic (hetero)aromates as a basic building blocks for novel fluorophores and NLO materials. As an extension of his previous work he is also interested in synthesis of optically active photocatalysts.
He participates in teaching the courses Organic Chemistry and Laboratory of organic chemistry I and II.
