Born in Dvůr Králové nad Labem on November 12, 1970. Married, wife Jana, daughter Tereza (2002), gemini Ondřej and Marek (2006).
 
 
SCIENTIFIC PROFILE
He graduated from University of Pardubice in 1994, Thesis entitled Effect of Medium and Substituents on Dissociation of Model N-phenylsulfonylbenzamides under supervision of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Miroslav Ludwig. In 1999 he defended his Ph.D. Thesis Study of Acid-Base Reactions of Substituted Naphthalenecarboxylic Acids (supervisor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Miroslav Ludwig).
He is interested in synthesis of model organic compounds (imidazolines and imidazoles), potentiometric titration in organic solvents, substituent and solvent effects, chemometrics. He is member of the Czech Chemical Society.
 
 
PEDAGOGICAL PROFILE
He leads courses Statistical evaluation of experimental data and Laboratory of physical methods in organic chemistry for undergraduate students in the specialization of Organic chemistry. He gives seminars from Organic chemistry I and II for bachelor students. He participates in teaching the courses Laboratory of organic chemistry I and II. In specialized courses for extramural bachelor students he gives lecturesOrganic chemistry I and Basics of organic synthesis.
He participates in organising of chemical seminars for secondary school teachers.
