Ing. Jan Honzíček, Ph.D., b. Pardubice 1978. graduated in 2002 from the University of Pardubice, specialisation: Inorganic and bioinorganic chemistry. His object of study was derivatives of titanocene dichloride and vanadocene dichloride. He earned his Ph.D. at the University of Pardubice in 2005 based on his thesis describing his experimental and theoretical study of hyperfine splitting of vanadocene complexes. From 2006 to 2008 he was a postdoc in the team of Professor C. C. Romão at ITQB-UNL in Oeiras, Portugal, where he studied the synthesis of cyklopentadienyl and indenyl compounds of molybdenum and tungsten. Since 2009 he has been working as a research scientist at the University of Pardubice, investigating organometallic compounds of Group 4, 5, and 6 elements and the applicability of organometallic compounds in the setting of paints drying by the oxopolymerisation mechanism. According to WOS he has co-authored 37 papers and has 113 citations (less self-citations), h index 9.
