About the Institute
The Institute of Chemistry and Technology of Macromolecular Materials offers its students courses which are unique within the Czech Republic. The Institute contributes to teaching within the “Chemistry and Technical Chemistry”, “Inorganic and Polymeric Materials”, and “Surface Protection of Building and Construction Materials” and “Graphic Arts and Printing Technology” bachelor study programmes. The subsequent master's study programme offers courses in “Organic Coatings and Paints”, “Technology of Polymer Manufacturing and Processing”, “Fibres and Textile Chemistry”, and “Chemistry and Technology of Paper and Pulp”. The Institute is the educational and supervisory institution for two postgraduate study programmes: “Materials Surface Engineering” and “Technology of Macromolecular Materials”. Within the pursuit of lifelong learning, the Institute is responsible for licensing study in two areas: “Technology of Paints and Coatings” and “Technology of Fibre and Paper Manufacture”.
