Research Objectives

the examination of water soluble salts impact rate on different types of rocks used in the Czech Republic and its possible reduction digital documentation of historic wall paintings for the needs of monument preservation and its use in conservation practice examination of the stability and reversibility of traditional and up-to-date agents used for consolidation and fixation of wall paintings paint layers complex research of argillite as building and artistic materials of the past

The Faculty of Restoration disposes of high quality technical equipment used in terms of close cooperation with other faculties and laboratories within the University.
