Tatiana Molková was born in 1966. She graduated from the College of Transport and Communication in Zilina, Faculty of Operation and Economics of Transport and Communications (Slovakia) in 1989. She defended her Ph.D. thesis at Jan Perner Transport Faculty University of Pardubice in 1999. From 1989 to 1992, she worked as a researcher in Computer Centre of Transport of Czechoslovak Railways in Bratislava (Slovakia), and after that she worked one year as a teacher at a secondary school of transportation in Trnava (Slovakia). Since 1993, she has been teaching and doing research at Jan Perner Transport Faculty of the University of Pardubice, firstly as a junior lecturer, later as a senior lecturer. In 2004, she was appointed Associate Professor in the field of Technology and Management in Transport and Telecommunications. Her research activities are focused on quality management systems in transport, capacity issues mainly in railway transport and optimisation of transport operation and technology. From March 2006 to January 2010, she was appointed the Vice-Dean of Jan Perner Transport Faculty for science and research and later for external affairs. Since February 1, 2010, Tatiana Molkova has been appointed the Vice-Rector for Research of the University of Pardubice. |

Jana Kubanová was born in 1958. She finished her Master studies at the Charles University in Prague in 1982. She worked as a teacher at a secondary school till 1992. Since 1992, she has been teaching at the Faculty of Economics and Administration of the University of Pardubice. In 1994, she earned the PhD title at the Charles University in Prague. In 2004, she was appointed with the academic title Docent (Associate Professor) in the branch Applied Mathematics at the University of Žilina.
During the years 2002 - 2007, she was appointed the Vice-Dean for education of the Faculty of Economics and Administration of the University of Pardubice. In her educational activities she specializes on mathematical disciplines as probability theory, mathematical statistics, and application of the statistical methods in economy. Her research is oriented to application of the statistical methods in practice and to the area of bootstrap methods application in economy and insurance theory. She is an author of two monographs, four publications for foreign students, five textbooks. She regularly publishes papers on statistics and bootstrap methods in professional journals (more than 20 articles abroad). She has presented her research results at more than seventy international conferences. Since March 1, 2011, Jana Kubanová has been appointed the Vice-Rector for Development of the University of Pardubice. |

Prof. PhDr. Karel Rýdl, CSc. was born in 1952. He finished university studies in 1979 at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Charles University of Prague majoring in German studies and history. He defended his thesis in 1986. In years 1981 – 1998, he held the position of a university lecturer, assistant professor and later an associate professor of history of education and comparative pedagogy at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Charles University of Prague. In 1996 he was appointed Associate Professor in the field of Pedagogy with the post-doctoral paper with the title “Active School in Czech Reformation Educational Practice.” In 1998 – 2001, Dr. Rýdl was the head of the Department of education at the Faculty of Education of the Charles University of Prague. From 1996 he was an external, and from 1998 a full-time teacher at the Institute of Foreign Languages and Humanities of the University of Pardubice. He was appointed a professor in 2003 after defending the theses at the Faculty of Philosophy, Komensky University of Bratislava, Slovakia. In 2001 – 2009 professor Rýdl was the head of the Department of Education and also a Vice-Dean for external relations at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Pardubice. He was also an invited adviser to the minister of education from 2006 to 2009. Professor Rýdl is the author of over 200 authentic scientific works and over 300 special articles published in the Czech Republic and abroad where he often attends conferences. He has completed several short and long-term study stays abroad, e.g. the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation study stay at German universities from 1992 to 1994. Professor Rýdl specializes in history of education, development of education systems, and school management, focusing on the notion of quality and its assessment. He is a member of numerous international and national scientific and specialized institutions, he actively lectures in non-profit sector within lifelong learning teachers´ education. Since February 1, 2010, Karel Rýdl has been appointed the Vice-Rector for Education of the University of Pardubice. |
