invites you
to apply for a post-doctoral internship in the field of research complying with a PhD study programme (or related fields of study) accredited at the University of Pardubice
Eligible candidates should be PhD graduates of foreign universities who are under 32 years of age before the 30th of April of the year which she/he applies for the position.
The standard length of stay is one year. The monthly salary, as determined by the Rector, will be the equivalent of 1 000 - 1 200 € to be paid in CZK (Czech Crowns). The amount is prior to the tax deduction.
The successful applicant will be selected upon submission of a project, the quality of his or her dissertation and applicable previous achievements.
The following documents must be submitted prior to the application for the selection procedure:
- Certificate of university education
- Certificate of PhD degree
- Dissertation (electronic form on CD is preffered)
- Project proposal
- List of publications and other creditable achievements
- Completed application form (see the Appendix )
The project should be submitted in type-written format, maximum one A4 page (font Times New Roman font, size 12, vertical tabulation 1). The project has to be approved by the prospective guarantor of the stay at the University of Pardubice. The value of this criterion shall be 40%.
The quality of the dissertation shall be valued at 20%.
Previous achievements shall be valued at 40%.
The deadline for application submissions is the 30th of April of each year. All documents should be addressed to Prof. Miroslav Ludwig, PhD, Vice-rector for Research, Studentska 95, CZ-53210 Pardubice, Czech Republic.
The Rector is responsible for the decision regarding allocation of the scholarship based on the recommendation of the selection committee. The 5-member committee is chaired by the Vice-rector for Research and its members are usually representatives of the faculties whose PhD study programmes have been accredited.
The Rector will announce the winner of the selection procedure before the 15th of May.
