Can I use the services of the UL even if I am not a registered user and do not want to become?
Yes, under the condition of paying 50,- Kč – so called one-day entrance fee. Then you can study in the UL all day long and copy from the documents as well. One-day entrance fee for a certain day is valid in the library branches, too.

Can I become a user of the library even if I am neither a student nor an employee?
Yes, you must register in the UL – it is needed to provide 1 passport-size photo, your ID and pay the annual registration fee 150,- Kč. You have a chance to select between two kinds of cards:
A)   the card valid for the UL only
B)   so called joint card – this allows you to enter and use the services of the Regional Library of Pardubice

If I am a student of the University, must I pay for registration in the UL?
No, registration in the UL is for students, lecturers and the other employees free of charge.

Can I as a user of the UL take advantage of the library branch in Litomyšl, too?
Yes, you have the same rights and obligations in each branch of the UL (Faculty of Health Studies in Černá za Bory, Faculty of Restoration in Litomyšl).
