Application Procedure - Requirements
a) Application for Admission to the Master Programme
The deadline for submitting applications for the 2012/2013 academic year is April 30, 2012.
Application form
The application form will be available from the 10th January, 2012. The applicant is obliged to submit the completed and signed application form to the following address:

The applicant is obliged to complete all appurtenances; a certificate regarding the applicant´s health condition is not required. The applicant is obliged to enclose a nostrification of the university Bachelor degree (recognition of the non-czech university Bachelor diploma), a curriculum vitae, a copy of his or her passport, and two passport pictures.
All enclosed documents need to be translated into English (a notarized certified translation is required in the event the submitted documents are not originally in English) excepting the nostrification of the Bachelor degree (Czech translation of the Bachelor diploma is required to be submitted when applying for the nostrification).
There is no application fee.
b) Acceptance Requirements
Applicant must pass the entrance examination in Mathematic Methods in Economics, Informatics and English language (based on a Bachelor study curriculum) and submit a nostrificatoin of the university Bachelor degree. The applicant is required to pay the tuition fees during the time period specified below.
c) Entrance Examination Dates
The entrance examination tests will be sent via email, between the periods of February 1, 2012 to May 15, 2012 to each applicant on the pre-arranged day. The applicant is given a specified amount of time for sending back the answer sheet. In the event that the applicant does not resend their answer sheet in the allotted time, the results of the entrance examination will not be considered.
d) Entrance Examination Evaluation
The entrance examination is a written exam and it is in the form of a test. There will be 6 files in total sent to applicant´s email box (file 1 = test in mathematic methods, file 2 = test in informatics, file 3 = test in English, file 4 = mathematic methods answer sheet, file 5 = informatics answer sheet, file 6 = English answer sheet). In the event the applicant answers the question correctly, they obtain a full score for that particular question. In the event the applicant does not know the correct answer, they are allowed to give up the right to answer the question, therefore the score will be 0. In the event the applicant answers incorrectly, 1/3 of the possible points for the question will be deducted.
Each entrance examination test will be evaluated with the following score:
Mathematic Methods in Economics: from -33 points up to 100 points
Informatics: from -33 points up to 100 points
English language: from -33 points up to 100 points
The final score of the entrance examination is the total of all acquired points (max. 300 points).
Applicants with less than 20 points in any subject were unsuccessful.
Applicants with at least 20 points in each subject can become a student of the Faculty of Economics and Administration of the University of Pardubice after handling all necessary formalities.
e) Taking Decisions on Acceptance
At most, a total of 40 applicants will be accepted in to the full time study programme based on their overall ranking.
f) Notice of Acceptance
A written confirmation from the Dean of the Faculty in regards to the applicant´s acceptance will be sent to the applicant via certified mail.
g) Review Proceedings
According to the § 50, par. 7 of the law no. 111/1998 Col., on universities and the change and completion of other laws (Law on Universitites) as amended by the subsequent regulation, the applicant who has not been accepted or his/her authorized representative may apply for a review of the resolution within 30 days from the delivery day of the resolution, which should be sent to the attention of the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administration University of Pardubice.
h) Additional Entrance Examination
In extraordinary cases it is possible to accept the admissions application after the stated deadline. The applicant can also postpone the entrance examination until after the specified period (for example, in cases where the applicant does not have to apply for their visa, applicant has already been granted a visa, or applicant does not need a visa for entering the country).
i) Assessment and Payment of Tuition Fee
The tuition fee is set to EUR 1300 per academic year. The student is obliged to pay the whole amount of the tuition fee immediately after being accepted as a student of the Faculty of Economics and Administration University of Pardubice, latest by June 15, 2012 and must send the original confirmation of payment to the Department of Education of the Faculty of Economics and Administration University of Pardubice, Studentská 95, 532 10 Pardubice, Czech Republic. Once paid, the tuition fee is returnable only after submitting the confirmation of visa denial issued by the authorized Embassy of the Czech Republic to the Department of Education at FEA (refunds on tuition fees will be deducted a EUR 30 processing fee).

j) Registration of Study
The student is obliged to appear on the day of registration at the Department of Education, which is set up for the first week of the academic year (latest by October 20, 2012 - applies to 1st year students). In the event the student does not attend the registration of study, their studies will be terminated immediately.
k) Deferment of Study
It is not possible to apply for the deferment of study.
